Again.

I no longer look through innocent eyes, It gets harder to tell the truth from the lies. I've felt love that blends with pain, But I know I'll do it all again. I've been reckless, I've been blind, Too often seem to lose my mind, What once was beauty, now is shame, And I know I'll do it all again. Now it seems again i find One who's gentle, one who's kind. You sit me down and ask me "What's your story?" I want to tell you, But I don't know how. I really want to tell you, But where would I begin? Oh how could I begin? I'd been in my hometown for hours, even in my own house, but it wasn't until that moment, standing on your doorstep, that I felt like I was coming home. Not until the front door opened, and I walked down the hallway I had grown to love, towards your room, where I found you. Not until we refreshed our memories with all five senses. My arrival is marked in words, in touch. In the way your face looks, dappled by the sunlight leaking in through the blinds. In the way I can feel your heart beating in my chest as though it were my own. And here, beyond the need for words, I lie beside you. And I am home.

It's been a long time...

...But I'm going to try and come back to this. Life has changed a lot, and I've missed writing about a lot of things that were probably deserving of being written about. But just recently I've been inspired to get into it again, and have whipped up three new pieces just in the last week. Let me know what you think :)

So, it's the beginning of a new chapter in my life, I suppose. Uni, beign 18, all that. I have a feeling some things are going to change in the nearer future than I'd like, but...things like that are meant to happen. Learning experiences, and the like. And from now on, things are going to be damn hard work. Now that I'll only be focussing on music, it's going to be intense getting me ready for (hopefully) a performance career. But what will be will be. In most areas things are good. Lots of new people to meet and such. Things like this are both scary and exciting, and hopefully I'll make the best of it for the next four years. Unfortuna

I did it!

I survived year 12 and TEE! It's done! And I think the exams went ok! Rounded it off nicely with music, which is my best subject. And celebrated in the best way I could imagine, with ny boyfriend and champagne! So that's that. It's taking a while to hit me that it's all over. The next thing on my to-do list for the summer break is to learn how to drive. Maybe I'll have a bit more time for writing or photo-taking too, so you might see a few more things popping up on DA, with any luck.
